Changing winter tyres all by himself

He had held his driving licence for just two weeks. Only a couple of days before, he decided to get into the car all by himself and go on a short drive. Then he had the courage to drive to work or even to his parents" house. They lived twenty kilometres away from his town, so it was something a bit more challenging. But on that particular day, he was going much further. He was going to visit his friends who lived at the seaside, so it was not twenty, but a two hundred kilometres" drive. As he was driving along a deserted road, his car suddenly skidded. He managed to brake, stopped the car, left the vehicle and saw that one of the winter tyres was flat. He didn"t panic. They taught him several times how to solve such problems. He had all necessary tools: screwdrivers, a jack, and a spare tyre, of course. He opened the boot and took out all the necessary things. It was a freezing day and he had forgotten to take his gloves. But now there was no time to think about such things. His palms were all cold and the skin was red, but he had to stand the cold. Fortunately, he remembered very well how to replace the winter tyres. It didn"t take him longer that a quarter to do it. Then he got into the car again, turned the heating system on and waited till his palms felt like his own parts again.
